The Curragh have continued their association with FBD Hotels & Resorts as the official Hotel partners of the Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival taking place on 27th and 28th May. The prestigious weekend of top class racing attracts some of the world’s best horses and jockeys to compete over two days.
The partnership package includes sponsorship of competitive 50,000 euro Premier Handicap races on both days of the festival.

FBD Hotels & Resorts own and manage two hotels in Ireland; Castleknock Hotel and Country Club, Dublin; Faithlegg House Hotel, Waterford and two resorts in southern Spain: La Cala Resort and Sunset Beach Club. They supported the much acclaimed “Lester Piggott Exhibition” which was one of the highlights of last year’s Guineas Festival.

The Curragh commenced a major development project earlier this year and is looking forward to an exciting year ahead with preparations for their 2017 season well underway with the construction of new facilities on schedule to be completed in advance of the first of 18 race days taking place on Saturday 13th May.
